We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical needs. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1830 - $1970
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Start Date: January 27, 2025
- Current RN license in Virginia
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- 1 year of RN experience required
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Administer medications safely and effectively
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams
- Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Manage patients with multi-system organ failure and trauma
- Utilize the AACN Synergy Model to provide patient-focused care
- Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence
- Collaborate with patients and families to support their care choices
