A Physical Therapist (PT) is a healthcare professional who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. They assess patients' movement, balance, strength, and range of motion, and develop individualized treatment plans to help them recover from injuries or illnesses and improve their overall physical function. They may use a variety of techniques and modalities such as exercises, stretches, manual therapy, and assistive equipment to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Physical Therapists also work with patients to prevent future injuries, by providing education and advice on how to maintain and improve physical health, including posture, body mechanics, and proper movement. They also work with patients to set realistic goals and track their progress.
Physical Therapists may work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, private practices, and schools. They also collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients.
This is a not full time but contracted travel position.
