We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor for a 13-week travel assignment in Massachusetts. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of the Patient Care Services departments, especially during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will provide both administrative and clinical support to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: April 13, 2025
- Shift: 32 hours per week, Nights and Every Other Weekend (2x12-hour shifts and 1x8-hour shift)
- Shifts per Week: 4
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
- Current Massachusetts RN license (in good standing)
- Current BLS certification
- 3+ years of advanced Med/Surg Tele experience
- Preferred: Critical care nursing experience
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Manage daily operations of Patient Care Services departments
- Collaborate with the Admitting Office and other hospital functions
- Provide administrative and clinical support to nursing staff during off-shifts
- Read Tele Strips and perform Cardiac Drips
- Titrate medications as needed
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and effective decision-making skills
- Maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills
